The Rotary Club of Georgetown, TX recently participated in the “Williamson County Benefits Fair”. The event focused on the theme of ‘Fit For Life’ in supporting County employees healthcare needs. Vendors displays included a variety of local organizations specializing in healthcare, nutrition, veterans and community service. The event was held in the Williamson County Annex at 100 Wilco Way.
 
 
 
The Rotary display highlighted our Club’s upcoming Field of Honor, taking place in San Gabriel Park November 5-12. We received a lot of enthusiastic interest about the FOH and even have two potential new members as a result of our participation in this event. WELL WORTH THE TIME AND ENERGY!
 
 
 
Our Rotarians were fully engaged and met with many interested county officials and employees. Participating Rotarians were from the Field of Honor and Membership Committees and included: Jeanne Cox, Michael Cox, Rob Barr, Tom Whorton, Dennis Brown and Joe Cerami. Special thanks also to Gabrielle and River Mortensen of the American Heritage Girls, a Field of Honor affiliate.
