Georgetown Neighborhood Food Project: Neighbors Helping Neighbors

The Rotary Club of Georgetown is proud to support the Georgetown Neighborhood Food Project, a simple yet powerful way to fight food insecurity right here in our community. Through this partnership, Rotarians help provide consistent, reliable food support to local families in need—one green bag at a time.

Club members can easily participate by picking up a green donation bag at any weekly meeting, filling it with non-perishable food items at home, and returning it at the next meeting. These contributions are then collected and distributed through the Georgetown Neighborhood Food Project, ensuring that food reaches those who need it most. It’s a small, convenient act of service that, when multiplied across our membership, creates a meaningful and sustained impact.
