“Whatever Rotary may mean to us, to the world it will be known by the results it achieves.”

Benefits of Being a Rotarian:
  • Opportunity to be of service to our community and beyond
  • Meeting and engaging with like-minded individuals in the pursuit of “Service Above Self"
  • Support the overall mission of Rotary to promote integrity and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace
  • Learning about Georgetown and nearby communities through weekly presentations
  • Rotary provides fellowship, social activities and fun thru service opportunities
  • Professional Networking, Public Speaking and Leadership Development
  • The opportunity to make and maintain lifelong friendships

Is Rotary Right for Me?
  • Do I have a servant’s heart?
  • Do I have a sense of fair play and right/wrong?
  • Do I have the freedom and time to serve?
  • Do I understand that Rotary’s work is serving?
  • Am I willing to make the sacrifice of my time and personal resources to be a Rotarian?
If the answer to these questions is yes, we invite you to visit our club, The Rotary Club of Georgetown, TX and begin your Rotary journey.

Please note:  we are NOT looking for people to be members of Rotary. Rather, we are looking for those who will truly be Rotarians.

To give you a chance to see what Rotary is all about and meet some amazing people we'd like to host you for lunch and. We meet every Friday at 11:30 am in McKinney Hall at the First United Methodist Church, 410 East University Avenue.

Members pay monthly club dues of $80, which include the cost of meeting lunches and $10 which goes towards support for the Rotary Foundation.

Attendance is highly encouraged, but not mandatory.  There are many benefits to attending Club meetings, beyond staying informed on club, local and global activities.  Participating in committee work, service projects, fundraisers, and social activities are also valuable ways to contribute to the Club.

So if you feel you're a candidate to be a Rotarian and are interested in joining our club, contact us or fill out a membership application and a member of our Membership Team will be in touch.
