On July 7th, an intrepid gang of trainer/mentors from our Rotary Club #gtxrotary again traveled to Copperas Cove to assist their local Rotary Club in building their second ramp. A significant change to the original design was needed to ensure that the ramp incline was compliant...the original design would have created too steep of a ramp. A special threshold was also built to accommodate the ease of moving a wheelchair out the front door.
Club members in attendance were Larry Baird, George Lourigan, Cris Cash, Bill Conner, Mike Sweeney and Denis Pepin. This project was in addition to the forty ramps that our Georgetown Club has built under the auspices of the Texas Ramp Project!
